Audi Sport Quattro

The Mighty Audi Sport Quattro recreation.

This will be a never ending project :)
It started in 2005 with a coupe quattro as a donor project car. Many, many moons later the entire car was fabricated and recreated.
Everything on this has been handcrafted or CNC machined by High Octane Speed Shop. From bodywork, to engine, to driveline, to chassis.
The engine currenlty makes 1.005 HP. 1/4 mile times are stuck at 10.4 secs due to breaking a lot of differentials and gearboxes. When all is upgraded to stronger equipment it will be back on the dragstrip to run some quicker times….. hopefully :)

2.2-litre 5-cylinder, JE pistons, Pauter rods, Garrett GT42RS turbo, Tial stainless hotside, Tial 60mm wastegate, stainless steel exhaust manifold , 4” downpipe, 4” straight-through aluminium exhaust, custom aluminium inlet manifold, 3” Wilson throttle body, Garrett custom built chargecooler, 20gpm water pump externally cooled water with 16-litre reservoir, Tial 50mm blow-off valve, custom dry-sump system, dry-sump tank in the boot with Group B-style rear wing/oil cooler combo, Weaver five-stage pump, Custom cams, mechanical lifters & titanium retainers, adjustable pulleys, VEMS management, 2,200cc injectors, Aeromotive A1000 eliminator fuel pump & filter

01E 6-speed EDU gearbox with upgraded internals, Quartermaster 5.5 triple plate carbon-carbon V-drive with chromo flywheel,
Tilton master clutch cylinder, Quaife differential,s 50:50 centre differential, original Sport Quattro propshaft, custom driveshafts
Full Sport Quattro spec, with custom springs and Koni adjustables, bespoke adjustable anti-roll bars
Original Sport Quattro AP Racing historic calipers, Tilton master cylinders with brake bias adjusters

Azev A wheels – 8.5×17”, ET10; Toyo R888 tyres – 255/45 R17
Full chromoly rollcage, custom alcantara interior, alcantara door cards, full dash, buckets & 3” harnesses
